Recovering from C-Section Wound Scars

In the past I had a C-section for my birth labor, but there is a complication on my second c-section (the wound opened on 3rd day) due to slipped vacuum bandage while I was sleeping. It was a painful experience, i was admitted to hospital again only after 3 days days after being acquitted. I was warded and on the 2nd day the doctor said I was having an infection..duh. At that time i didnt really care about scar. What bothers me was an open hole which didnt close with the scar tissue. Im still at the hospital, just wondering if anyone else having similar experience?
