Is it okay to let a baby cry to sleep??!!

Maybe it sounds disturbing,,I'm just too exhausted to the point i have a chronic sleep deprivation as I constantly hearing her crying but I don't know how long for. I can't do this anymore so can I just let her cry? I need to sleep really bad.
