Why people lie about abortion?

I had many successful abortions before I got married..despite hearing all shitty nonsense about abortion..Frankly I could not bear my laughing stomach reading all the lies spread by media and religious goons who are obviously anti-abortion. It got me thinking what benefits do they get by spreading misinformation about abortion?? they probably think they're the army of God??
